If anyone has any or knows of any voltage modified BIOS please let me know - I am happy to test and report findings. Hoping more modified BIOS's continue to come out. I am quite sure if the power limit had been increased instead of removed completely with this BIOS we would have also seen the card boosting to higher voltages. It seemed to fall back to a low-power fail-safe mode. Might have got further if power limit had simply been "massively increased" instead of simply removed as card/driver/program didn't seem to know how to handle this. (With factory LN2 BIOS on 1080 Classified I can draw up to 320W but locked to 1.093v). I don't think the driver/card knew what to do and power options were disabled in PrecisionX and GPUTWEAK2.Ĭouldn't get the card to draw more than 150W even though power limit was meant to have been removed with this BIOS. Seen 1.1v on GPU-z (normally can't get over 1.093)Ĭlassified doesn't seem to be compatible with the "removed" power limit on the modified BIOS though. If anyone can help I'm happy to share overclocking experience/figures and also provide link to the modified BIOS.īTW - Flash worked! - System booted up just fine I know people have successfully managed this before so any help from anyone with experience would be excellent. Has anyone successfully cross-flashed a pascal card with a bios from a different manufacturer? "BCRT Error: Certificate 2.0 verification failedĮRROR: BIOS Cert 2.0 Verification Error, Update aborted." Then 'y' to confirm but then I get the following error message: It asks me to "press 'y' to confirm override of PCI Subsystem ID's:" I have already removed write protection with command: nvflash -protectoffĪnd we are now trying to use the command: nvflash -overridesub bios.rom. We are trying to use " NVFlash 5.287 圆4 with Certificate Checks Bypassed " We have been trying for hours together with Nvflash. The STRIX bios has voltage modified to allow up to 1.2v and power limit removed. My friend and I are trying to flash his new 1080 CLASSIFIED with a modified ASUS STRIX bios. Just found the answer to my own question: (Read all of it for background on what I was doing when I found this out) EDIT: PROOF PASCAL IS NOT HARD LIMITED TO 1.093v
